Editorial Policy

Independence

Our product recommendations, comparisons, rankings and editorial opinions are not determined by affiliate commissions. When several products meet our criteria, we weigh factors such as features, build quality, value, availability, verified customer feedback and price. A purchase through our links may earn us a commission, but whether a commission exists, and how much it is, does not determine whether a product is included, recommended or ranked.

Accuracy and sources

• We cite the sources behind specifications and claims. See How We Review.
• If a specification is unknown, we leave it out rather than guess.
• We do not show fixed prices; buttons link to the merchant, where the current price is shown.

How links are checked

• Every affiliate link is confirmed by a person before the product can appear on the site. Our build refuses to publish a product whose link has not been confirmed.
• If a merchant is removed from the site, its buttons switch to an alternative product we have chosen in advance. If there is no alternative, the site does not build until one is set.
• Our build flags any merchant whose terms have not been re-checked in the last 90 days, so we can review them.

How coupons are checked

• We only list coupon codes provided by the merchant, directly or through an affiliate network. Codes from any other source are never shown.
• Each coupon has an expiry date. The site is rebuilt once a day, and coupons are removed at the next daily rebuild after their expiry date.

Update cadence

• Comparisons, guides and brand pages show the date they were last updated.
• Our build flags any comparison that has not been updated in 180 days so it can be reviewed.
• Once a month we run a maintenance check for expired coupons, merchant terms due for a re-check, broken links and comparisons due for an update, and fix what it finds.

Corrections

We aim to provide accurate, up-to-date information, but prices, specifications, availability and promotions change over time. If you believe a page contains an inaccurate, outdated or misleading statement, email us at [email protected] with the page address and the information concerned. We aim to acknowledge correction requests within 3 business days and, where verification is needed, correct the page as soon as reasonably practicable.

Use of AI tools

We use AI-assisted tools in parts of our research and editorial workflow, for example to organize research, summarize sources, draft and edit text, and flag information that needs checking. AI output is never treated as a source. Before publication, content is reviewed and edited by a person, and facts are checked against the sources listed on each page. We are responsible for everything we publish.
